This specialty coffee comes from the Guji region in Ethiopia, widely regarded as the birthplace of coffee and one of the most celebrated origins for producing complex and elegant cup profiles.
Grown in the Hambela Wamena district at altitudes between 1,950 and 2,250 meters, this coffee develops high density and intense aromatics thanks to slow cherry maturation at elevation.
It is composed of Ethiopian heirloom varieties, known for their unique genetic diversity and their ability to produce vibrant acidity and distinctive floral characteristics.
The coffee undergoes a traditional natural process, where whole cherries are dried under the sun. This enhances sweetness and amplifies fruity and floral notes, resulting in a more expressive and aromatic cup.
