Grown at 1,800 meters above sea level on La Esperanza Farm, this Cenicafé 1 variety is processed using an Anaerobic Honey method. Carefully controlled anaerobic fermentation enhances the coffee's sweetness and aromatic complexity, while the honey process preserves its rich body and clarity, resulting in a lively and beautifully balanced cup.

This coffee is produced by Hertson Bernal, owner of La Esperanza Farm since 2006. Hertson began his journey alongside his brother Jesús, managing coffee farms and learning every aspect of coffee cultivation before achieving their dream of owning their own farm. Through years of dedication, continuous investment, and a passion for specialty coffee, Hertson has transformed La Esperanza into a respected producer of innovative microlots. Today, the entire family is involved in the farm, combining traditional knowledge with modern processing techniques to produce coffees of exceptional quality.

With an SCA score of 88, presents an elegant cup featuring notes of tangerine, light caramel, and yogurt, supported by bright citrus acidity, a silky body, and a long, sweet finish.

At Blue Faro, we roast this coffee in small batches to highlight its vibrant fruit character while preserving the unique qualities developed at origin. The result is a versatile specialty coffee that performs beautifully as both espresso and filter coffee.
